The Los Angeles Police Department, Behavioral Science Services (BSS), is seeking to fill one Police Psychologist I position to provide psychological services to the sworn and civilian members of the Los Angeles Police Department.  The starting annual salary range is $106, 634.16 to $155,890.08.  The excellent benefits package includes medical and dental insurance, license reimbursement, vacation, sick and holiday compensation, deferred compensation options, vehicle mileage reimbursement, continuing education opportunities, and pension participation. 

The successful candidate must have earned a doctoral degree in Psychology from a regionally accredited program and must be licensed as a Psychologist by a U.S. state, district or territory at time of application.  Full-time professional experience providing direct clinical services in a law enforcement agency is preferred.  Successful candidates offered employment must undergo a thorough background check.
