The Walnut Creek Police Department is a professional police organization of 81 sworn and 41 professional staff dedicated to providing a high level of service. The department views itself as responsible for the protection of Constitutional rights and the maintenance of safety and security for all persons in our community. The department is present in the community to help and serve and is dedicated to the concept of Community Oriented Policing.
